Michael Habicht of El Segundo, California came to the aid of Doug Nolan and Marcos Brundall. He took these pictures and kindly shared them with Mono SAR.

This is where I ended up spending Saturday night

The ledge was wet and small and sloping towards the glacier.
Doug is in my bag and Marcos is in my bivy sack.
I'm up stamping my feet all night

We were very happy to make tea and hot water bottles all night!

Dawn was a very welcome sight since we had been awake for 24 hours

The Mono SAR team comes up the glacier.
It's starting to lightning and hail!

Greg takes care of Doug the injured victim

Jeff takes care of Marcos the medical/hypothermic victim

It's finally starting to clear around 10 a.m. and the good news
is that the helicopter may still come!!
